- Ongoing coaching and mentoring
Mike Harris occasionally leads half-day or full-day workshops aimed at elite leadership educational programmes in major corporations.
Complete client confidentiality is maintained for these assignments as they are often focused on key strategic issues facing the client.
Whilst each seminar is tailor-made to meet the client’s specific needs and requirements, a typical programme might consist of:
1. A highly interactive session on the mistakes leaders typically make in initiating or responding to change – based on The seven deadly sins of leadership
A booklet ©Mike Harris (2001-2007) describing the major mistakes many large organisations make in strategy, culture and leadership. These mistakes threaten to stifle initiative and innovation and damage a company’s competitive positioning
Participants identify examples of the mistakes in their own company and their own leadership
2. A 30-45 minute keynote speech on the techniques and skills of powerful leadership
3. A Q and A session where participants ask questions on how they could apply these techniques to issues they are currently facing and get on-the-spot, real-time coaching
4. Group exercises where participants have the opportunity to practice some leadership skills on real issues.
Client educational and support staff are fully briefed to provide ongoing coaching and mentoring of participants.
